On Sunday, our pastor spoke about leaving a legacy.  It made me think of Rexanna. Her legacy is alive and moving and nothing has slowed her spirit down.  There are thousands of students, athletes, teachers, and a some of my best friends who were touched by Rexanna's faith, beliefs, strength, discipline, and amazing laugh.  Rexanna died of lung cancer, never touched a cigeratte, yet Rexanna's Foundation, her legacy, fights to beat cancer.

Our team, Run for a Purpose has joined together to train and run the 50 mile Cactus Rose ultramarathon.  We run for those who can't and bring hope to those who need it. 

We are running 50 miles in one day on October 30th. 

We of course know that Coach Hawkins (Rexanna) is up above asking us if we've lost our minds!  AND WE HAVE!  But we know she's also cheering us on and telling us to keep our butts moving! If our craziness brings our purpose to new people we've accomplished part of our goal.  Your donations will help us reach another goal and give value to our fight.  We will use each prayer, thought, donation, and hope to finish our run.
