Hello there!

Well, it is that time of year...great weather for running. As most of you remember, last year I participated in my first ever 5K run, Run for a Purpose. On 4/2/11 I will be participating in the 2nd Annual Run for a Purpose 5K event.

Lung cancer causes MORE DEATHS than colon, breast, prostate, colon, liver, melanoma and kidney cancers combined!! This is your chance to help make a difference in the fight. My goal this year is to raise $1000.00 for the fight against lung cancer and give back to the community. Proceeds from this race will go to MD Anderson toward lung cancer research as well as student college scholarships.
